Christmas in March

One of the electricians decided that today was a good day to start whistling Christmas carols. Fortunately, that didn't last long.

Here are two of the four intake towers:These 395' tall towers are used to channel water from Lake Mead to the generator turbines.

Oh, if it's still cold in Colorado, you have permission to be jealous of my location. It feels like mid June right now.

They should put amusement park rides on them... they could have an underwater tower of doom! :D And a GIANT water slide! :D

Not cold at all out here. Beautiful, 70 degree weather. If it wasn't for all the static shocks I get around here I might think it's Florida! :-)

Oh, JOE! You are so RIGHT! If only I ran the government. Streets would be replaced by roller coasters. Elevators would be replaced by doom drops. Revolving doors would be replaced by spinny rides! Oh, what a beautiful picture you paint!

LOL -- STOP IT, Sarah M. You're making me jealous.

You too, GGM! :-)
