Iiiiit's BREAK TIME!

Guess what? I still don't have anything to post! All I've done since lunch is work on wiring up the controls for one of the new compressors.

I want to know who volunteered to take this picture:

what part of the dam is that?

I think it's one of the penstocks. (Pipe that the water goes through to get to the generators.)

You can tell it's big because it's blury. The camera flash barley lit the thing up.

You really need to come out and see it :-)

Whoo hoo! New background!

You have this thing with tunnels, don't you :-)

Actually, there aren't really any good tunnel pictures at Hoover... Disappointing. AH! The pipe gallery! I'll have to see if I can get a picture of that.

Pipe gallery, eh?
I'm picturing a room filled with Sherlock Holmes look-alikes...
Am I close?

Blat! Tina, sign out, will ya?!

Hehe... Yeah... I wish :-)

How about a boring ol' concrete hallway full of pipes that run along the length of the hall? I know, boring.

Oh, the pipe gallery does have a bathroom disguised as an electrical panel! It surprised me when a guy was giving me a tour and opened a panel and walked into a room :-) (It wasn't a panel, but it really kind of looked like it :-)

TINA IS BACK! I thought you were dead! I'm so glad to hear you're alive! So, tell me, Tina, how's life? Does that belly of yours still talk? (I am Booodaaaah!) Got any good ideas?

I want to know HOW they took that picture :P It looks like the water is deep enough that they would have at least needed to know how to swim well.
Either way it looks like they probably got wet. :P

I think they have to inspect the inside of the penstocks every once in a while, so they were probably in a raft or... wet :-)

Sorry for the double comment, you would think they would have fixed that by now. :P
